 Tammy's daughters had her birthday this month so she has challenged everyone to make an animal themed birthday card in honor of her.

Between the crazys of Christmas I needed a Birthday card. Gosh I feel sorry for those I imagine are often forgotten with Holiday time Birthdays, to all you celebrating another year HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I made this VERY quick card for my neighbor celebrating on Monday, I did not forget. The die cut is actually a coaster, can ya believe it?

Welcome Back to School

I am trying desperately to get myself back into the crafting world after a major hiatus. Maybe this will be the only thing I complete, but I hope not.

My daughter needs another birthday card. So here I am to share what I came up with. Dear Daughter of mine gave me nothing to work with "She likes Justin  Bieber, that's all she likes" Eye Roll* Normally I personalize every card I make, but Justin Bieber.... No!!!! I suppose I could have done a silhouette but honestly I forget how :O

Good afternoon Scrappers.

If your a mom of an 6 -10ish year old you might recognize this guy. In the 3 weeks my son has been invited to 2 Pokemon birthdays and I just threw a Pokemon Birthday for my two last weekend. I am Pokemoned out!!! However the kids are not, so here is Sandile. I hope you like him. I designed him with SCAL from a coloring page and embossed the background with cuttlebugs "Happy Birthday." Not much but I think it will bring a smile to the birthday boys face.

She's getting married!!!

First I want to thank you for all the support I have received during the loss of our son. Yes slowly it does slowly get easier and life does have to continue despite many days not wanting to. Life is continuing for my daughter's teacher, she is getting married!!!! Congrats Mme Johnson! She has been so kind to invite her entire 1st grade class.....BRAVE!!!! Here is the card I made for her. You have probably seen this style before, it is by no means my idea (I wish I was this creative) its only my execution of it.

1st christmas

Hello Bloggers!!!!

Today I actually have summin' to show you, say what??? yup I sure do.

I decided today was the day to suck it up, lost mojo or not christmas cards need to be done, so here it is my first...... in gulp TWO years!!!!

I used:

Fiskars snowflakes embossing plate for the base

Cuttlebug swiss dots for the scalloped circle

an svg paper piecing for the reindeer

random ribbon and due drops to embellish

I think its kinda cute considering, I hope you like it too!!!!

Stay tuned bloggers while I may appear not to be doing anything lately or in a LONG time, I have been learning more about sure cuts alot and how to make my own paper piecings which I will be sharing with you real soon!!!!

Birthday Butterflies

Yup another Birthday Card!!!! This one for my "sister-in-la-la" apperently I got so busy with birthdays this month I forgot to share. I think from now on when I meet people I am gonna ask "whens your birthday?" If they answer "may" or "june" my response will be "sorry we cant be friends" lol. Anyways.....the 3D butterflies are SCAL with a little bling, generic glitter glue that is my fav and I cant find more of :(, I have embossed the back ground with swiss dots by cuttlebug and punched it with fiskars threading water. The stamp is studio g, and then topped her off with a ribbon bow. Pretty simple but I love it!!!

Angry Bird

Tues is my sons 7th birthday, he is constantly stealing my ipod to play angry birds, so I made hime this birthday card. Personally I dont "get" angry birds, I only got the app to see what it was all about, maybe I am not one of the "kewl kids" but I just dont see the appeal, and I would really like my ipod back, is 7 too young for their own ipod???? lol
