For these cards, yes I made several in all different colors with different sentiments, I placed a stencil on the acetate and sanded, the outlined in white pen, cut slits next to the reindeers antlers and tied the bow through, add a sentiment and vola!!!!!!! TFL

ok so obviously I am still having camera issues, bare with me santa hopefully has one on his sleigh. I made this card (its acetate btw) by cutting a .svg file that looked similar to the cuttlebug christmas tree everyone is raving about. I left the negative on the cricut mat after cutting and used it as an embossing stencil with my embossing stylus over my lightbox and wouldnt u know it, it worked and I saved myself $10 and can still use the cut. Decorated and vola!!!

Feels pretty good to get back in my room after several weeks with the flu and no mojo, still not completely over it but were getting there. So this is what I came up with virtually the same card but yet so different, I am pleased :D

Today I learned your name

I think I have some explaining to do on this. Why the title well.......... my son was suppose to be a surprise but the ultrasound tech let it slip, we had already picked names for both a boy and a girl, well I had anyways and you see who won that fight LOL!!!! anyways for this LO I didnt want the typical its a boy title so thats whats with the title as soon as I knew it was a boy and I knew it was Dakota not Brookelyn. The scallop circle is actually hjournalling telling the story. The whole page is embossed, stamped for the title and threading water punch for the photo mat, skittles, primas and bling :D TFL

waiting for you

this is a re-do it was probably one of the first pages I ever scrapped and it was awful. So being such an important LO it definately needed a re-do. I am MUCH happier with it now, quiet possibly one of my fav LOs or maybe thats because it was such an important time in life, I dunno but I am happy with it NOW.

think i like tattoos? :D what you can not see from the pic is that this one is embossed with butterflies and also scored above and below "thinking of you" guess morning light is better to take pic in than evening light, i will have to remeber that next time. TFL

TATTOO CARD

Dont forget to check out those fake tattoos they work just as well as rub-ons they come in soooo many beautiful shapes sizes and colors and are much cheaper than alot of rub-ons. the flowers/florishes on this card is actually a fake tattoo. Embossed with fiskar texture plate (now on sale at the superstore for $1.23, $1.23 you get 4 textures :D) The trim is my threading water look a like made with cricut design studio and scored with my paper trimmer and embossing stylus, no NEED for score-pal :D

the pink stamper robyn recently did a tutorial on stamping on candles so of course I had to try even though I still dont have a heat gun and she said not to use a hair dryer. I never follow instructions so dont ask me to :P anyways here it is and I think it didnt turn out THAT BAD!!!!

Birthday Already???

Yup its that time of year again babes are getting old :( trying to do a party for both a boy and girl is never easy to think of a theme, but this year we are going with a hawiian theme, not far off from last years but oh well. BUM

Well my dear big beautiful friend was just approved for surgery to loose the weight (sorry name has left my brain) anyways since I have known her some 15years she has told me "if I looked like you I would run around 24/7 in a thong" <---yeah right. Since she was approved I have been teasing her that I want to see her in a thong once its all said and done cause she said she would you know :P She is very excited as I am for her so this is the card I made for her. Does the "congrats" look like a tatoo??? its suppose to :S Oh and the card is just the bum I just put black cardstock to block out the background its not apart of the card, and is made from george and cds :D Love that program. I got the idea when I read a challenge on gramma's blog for a humors card so thats gramma for inspiring me to do this for my dear friend

Diaper Cake

I am very proud of this progect its a diaper cake made for a new mommy . This was my first attempt at a diaper cake. There are disposable washclothes in the center of the 1st layer a toilet paper roll (LOL) in the center of the second layer and washclothes in the center of the third layer as well as the outside of the third layer. The A on top is also altered by me and you can see I used cricut design studio software for the name and date. I hope you like this as much as I do. I entered this one for the cricut newsletter :D
